Syria Response
Following the February 2023 earthquake, Questscope and SSSD conducted community-based needs assessments across Aleppo, Daraa, and Homs. Interventions supported shelter rehabilitation, winterization kits, school repair, and psychosocial recovery. Questscope also explored long-term resilience approaches and community ownership through participatory planning.
per '16 annual report: In Syria, we support 600,000 individuals who left their homes and safe places, sometimes four or five times. We offer everything from water, food, blankets and clothes, to psychosocial counseling to deal with the trauma of being stuck in never-ending cycles of violence.
